Amin is pursuing PhD in Cyber Security at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia, since January 2024. He has extensive experience in cyber security management, big data processing, and solutions architecting. He has a B.S. in Statistical Computing from Institute of Statistics Jakarta, Indonesia and an M.S. in Computer Science from University of Arkansas, United States. He is the CEO of PT Data Cerdas Indonesia (https://datacerdas.id/) which offers various technology services. He is also the CTO of Poddium (https://poddium.com.au/) which offers digital content production and publishing.

  • MS. Thesis. Inferring Mobile Apps from the Resource Usage Pattern. Showed using several machine learning algorithms that we can infer the type of apps being used by looking at CPU usage pattern with 100% accuracy on single mobile device and 66.67% accuracy on mobile cloud platform. (Mobile cloud platform testbed: Ubuntu Linux laptop as server, custom Android 4.3 Jelly Bean tablet as client).
  • Supported by Fulbright scholarship from United States Department of State.
  • Earned an Additional Information Assurance Certificate, certified by United States National Security Agency (NSA) and University of Arkansas, by taking four Advanced Courses on Cyber Security.
  • Implemented variations of Neural Network machine learning algorithms from scratch using Java programming language.
